The Veterans Affairs Building is a turn-key, build-to-suit project developed by Balke Brown Associates for the General Services Administration.

The building's design expands upon the classic St. Louis Union Station complex concept. Masonry of varied textures and colors, limestone trim and color-tinted concrete create a high-quality solution, which was both affordable and efficient. A tree-lined pedestrian plaza links the VA building to Union Station and its MetroLink station.
