BBA's ability to see "diamond in the rough" projects begins with Steve. A creative thinker with the passion to push difficult projects forward, he successfully guides the company in new directions. He leads development and financial activities as well as guiding the team in its mission of improving the quality of life in the St. Louis region.
Some of Steve's career highlights include:
- Led the company's diversification into the industrial (1995), multifamily (2002) and hospitality (2004) markets
- Spearheaded development of Union Station Office Center, which received the International Building of the Year Award
- Launched The Highlands at Forest Park mixed-use development
- Was the company's first employee in 1984 and has been a co-owner and president since 1999
- Holds a bachelor's of architecture degree from Notre Dame and a master's of architecture from Harvard University
- Serves on the board of Habitat for Humanity in St. Louis
